Uploading SCORM Content

Pilgrim customers can build or purchase course content that is SCORM compliant. The Training Management SCORM adapter allows customers to associate course content from an outside Learning Content Management application to Training Management and track all training requirements and their successful completion.

NOTE: This functionality is currently supported for Initial Certification only. The Supports Self-Training option must be selected in the certification information.

  1. In the course tree on the left side of the Course record, click the Certification Information link.
  2. Click the Upload SCORM Content button (visible only when the Supports Self Training option is set to Yes).
  3. Browse to and import the .zip file.

NOTE: See your LCMS application instructions for how to publish the zip file to be used for SCORM.

  1. Once the file is imported, close the dialog box and refresh the Certification Information window.
Result: The zip file now displays as attached and there is a Preview link to view the content. The file is also automatically placed under the Attachments link of the Course record. A Self Train Option called e-Learning has also automatically been placed under the Self-Train Options link of the Course record.

NOTE: See Signing off a Self Train - SCORM Course for more information about how SCORM courses are fulfilled by trainees.
